Hello Friends! So I'm back with another blogger collaboration, if you've been followed my blog last year I did a blogger Christmas party post with a few bloggers and were back doing it again! This time were bringing you outfits from Yours Clothing while incorporating our own themes to our own virtual party. So keep reading to see what I have planned for today!
Can you believe it's December already? Wow this year has truly passed by too fast. Today's post is kind of late, this is what I wore for Thanksgiving. I took pictures before I left but I didn't have time to upload pictures and write a post. But it's better late then never and I really liked what I wore for Thanksgiving. So here we go my Mellow Yellow post!
So I'm back with another Collaboration with some of my blogger friends and it's not the last too, so look forward to another collaboration with them in the near future. But yes today is a little different because all of us are doing something a little different but it all has to do with the theme of Vintage Holiday. Janeane of Designing from my Closet is showing you how to decorate for the Holiday's with vintage inspiration. Liz of With Wonder and Whimsy is sharing some fun vintage recipes that we can serve during the Holiday's. Hailey of Discourse of a Divine Diva is showing us some vintage make up and hair. As for me I'm showing you some vintage inspired looks that you can wear for the Holiday's!
I know it has been a long time since my last post, I've been very busy and daylight savings really messed up my schedule. But I have a few post lined up for you all so I hope you stick with me! But yeah today I'm back with another collaboration with some of my blogger friends and we are bringing you some fall trends. The trend I chose is shades of gray, it was a big trend in New York Fashion Week with designers like Victoria Beckham, Lacoste, Jason Wu, and Tibi all showing all gray outfits.
I can't believe October is almost half way over, the time really goes by fast. October is my Birthday month so I don't want it to end because I don't want to get a year older, I'm not prepared to leave my 20's behind! lol But yeah it's mid October but here in California were having a heat wave and I'm wishing for some fall weather soon, I'm so tired of the heat. So in hoping for cooler weather in today's blog I'm posting a fall outfit that is still cool enough for me to wear in the warmer weather we have in California.
I can't believe it's already October, it's my birthday month but it's also Pilipino American History Month/Filipino American History Month or PAHM/FAHM which brings us to today post. When I was in college I used to celebrate this by going to different events at my college, since then I haven't really celebrated so I figured I can celebrate it by bringing it to my blog and celebration my heritage through fashion. So today I'm wearing a "Barong Tagalog," which is known as the national dress of the Philippines.
I know it's been awhile since I last posted but I've been going through a lot of personal things that have kept me from posting. I know I've said I'm back a few times but things keep happening, so this time I wont say it. But yeah it's Fall and their is one thing that I love more then fall fashion and that's fall television. I'm talking Empire, How to get away with Murder, The Walking Dead and so many more shows. But I also get excited for new ones as well and one of the shows I've been excited about is "Scream Queens," because the cast looks great and I love the outfits that I see on the show. I love the preppy and girly style that I see the characters wearing which brings us to today's post, continue to see which character and outfit I was inspired by.
I hope everyone is having a great day, we are having a heat wave in California and I am definitely feeling it, it was 107 degrees today! I know that's pretty hot but it's good I was indoors most of the time. But yeah about this post, I went to the plus bus in July and I've been wanting to show off something I got from it. I decided to chose a black skirt I picked up because it's a perfect item to transition from day to night.
This past weekend I was able to attend the Styled by Reah Pop up with so many bloggers I admire and I thought it would be great to share it with you all. I was so happy they had an event in Los Angeles because usually they have these events in New York or places I can't go to. So when I found out it was going to be close enough for me to go, I knew I had to go.
Hey Friends!!! So I've been struggling a little bit this week, so I'm still trying to get back into the flow of things. As for today I'm bringing another collaboration with some of my awesome blogger friends and this week were doing floral for now and floral for later. Which basically means floral for Summer and Fall!
So I know it's been awhile since I've posted, I have had a lot going on with me personally. First I had a death in my family, my uncle passed away and it was hard for me because I saw him almost every day since he got sick. And after my uncle passed I got really sick and I just recently got out of the hospital. This post was originally supposed to be up last week but I got admitted to the hospital so we had to push the post back. I'm doing better but I'm still recovering, but I'm back and I'm starting to get back to all my blog things.
First off sorry I haven't been around life has been a little crazy lately for me but I'm trying to catch up on post. Now today's post is from last week's "Curves Around the World" theme which was "Casual Cutie!" When I think of casual, it's what I wear more on a daily basis and for me it's usually skirts, dresses and shorts. So today I'm sharing a shorts outfit.
For today's post I'm bringing you a collaboration with 2 other bloggers my good friend Liz from With Wonder and Whimsy and Terr from TerrCacilla. I was talking to Liz a few weeks back about wanting to do a collaboration and a few days later Terr posted something on instagram about wanting to do a collaboration, so it was perfect timing for all of us do one together. We teamed up with Avenue to bring you today's post "Ladies who lunch and Babes who Brunch!"
Happy Monday and you know what that means, Curves Around the world! Today's theme is "thrifted" and when I was in college I thrifted a lot but I haven't gone in a really long time. But thrift shopping is something I do enjoy when I have time.
So today I'm showing you an outfit I wore this past weekend to a Beatles/hippie themed party that I went to. It was actually a dog party that I brought my dog to but of coarse I had to get dressed for it as well. Check out the rest of the post to see pictures from the party and more of my outfit!
So I'm back with my 2nd Rocksbox review! I've had this box for quite awhile but I haven't gotten around to reviewing it. If you don't know what Rocksbox is a monthly service that loans you designer jewelry for a monthly rate. Now I did like this box a lot more than the first one.
How is everyone doing? It's been such a gloomy day here in SoCal but it's so humid. Hows the weather where you are? Well today's Curves challenge is girly girl and when I think of girly girl I picture pink, ruffles and bows. So that's what I tried to do with my outfit today.
Can you believe it's already June!?! This year is truly flying by. Well today's "Curves Around the World" post is about wearing all black. Now I don't usually wear all black even though I love black and white because I always like adding some contrast to an outfit so this was actually a bit of a challenge for me.
So I know I've been a little MIA recently but I had family issues that I had to take care of. But I'm back and I'm catching up on some of my "Curves Around the World" posts. Today's blog is the theme from last week and all about being inspired by a certain designer. So for me I was inspired by Kate Spades Spring 2015 ready to wear runway.
So I took a bit of a social media/blog break last week because I think I really needed it for myself. But I'm back and it's another "Curves Around the World" post for you and today it's about Springs pantone colors! Also we have a new member of the group Melissa from It's Melicious!
Happy May everyone! I can't believe it's already May, the year is passing by way too fast. But yeah today's post is a little different, I'm doing a review of a new monthly Jewelry service called RocksBox. Rocksbox is a service that you pay for each month that loans you designer jewelry to wear that you can send back any time or you can purchase. The way they chose the jewelry for you is you take a survey and then they chose pieces that they think will fit your style.
So I'm late on my "Curves Around the World" post again but last week was crazy for me and I think I needed a break from my break. Any of you have the same feeling? But yeah this week's theme is one we have done a few times and it's Seasonal because we all live in different parts of the world so our season might be different. For me it's currently Spring.
So it's Monday again and you know what that means, "Curves Around the World!" This weeks theme is out of my comfort zone. I really like challenging myself and trying different styles and making myself get out of my comfort zone. In the past I've challenged myself to wear shorts and go sleeveless and those two things have stuck with me and are now part of my everyday style. For today's theme it's a specific item that I'm challenging myself with and it's white jeans!
So today's post is a bit late due to the fact that I haven't been feeling well but the post is up. Today's Curves Around the World post is about blogger inspiration and I have to tell you I am inspired by so many bloggers so this was hard for me to choose but I chose someone that has inspired me more then just with style.
Since it's Monday again, you know what that means, it's time for a new theme with the girls from "Curves Around the World" and today's theme is favorite trend. I shared a few of my favorite upcoming spring trends recently (here) so it's not a surprise that my favorite combines two of the three I shared.
Happy St. Patrick's day and Happy 2nd Blogiversary to my blog. It's funny how I decided to start a blog on St. Patrick's day, I had been thinking of starting to blog again and that day I got enough confidence to just start it. But yeah today's post is going to be a little different because I'm really going to talk about clothes or fashion but more about my blog and what I hope for in the future.
So today is another "Curves Around the World," post and today were talking about layers. Right now Los Angeles is going through a heat wave and we are in the 90's right now, so layers isn't something you think about when it's hot. But their are ways to layer when it's hot outside and I tried one way today on the blog.
So I the weather in California is really warm right now and it's making me think of spring actually it felt like summer today because it was 92 degrees. But I hope it wont last and we get some spring weather back. But since it's almost officially spring I thought I would go over a few of the trends for this spring.
I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend, it's Monday and that mean "Curves Around the World!" Today's theme is "Oldie but goodie" and to me that means a piece of clothing that's older but it's still a great piece.
So today I'm happy to say we are re-launching "Curves Around the World!" We took a little break but were back with some new bloggers and we have some great themes we are going to be posting in the future. Today our theme is "about me" and it's a great way re-introduce all the members of the group as well as the new ones.
Today I'm thinking of Spring, it's just around the corner and here in California the weather already feels like Spring. So I have been obsessing over accordion pleats after seeing Dior's Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2015 because they were all over that runway. So I've been searching all over trying to find one my size and that is also affordable. I'm happy to say I was able to find one. Click read more to see where I found one.
So, I know it's been awhile my life has been crazy but I missed the blog and I'm back. So for today's blog, I'm talking about t-shirts. I don't know about you but when I go to an event I always end up with a shirt but I never wear them, they usually end up in my drawer never being worn or sleeping shirt. So I went to Hello Kitty con a few months back and I bought a shirt and it has never been worn and it's been sitting in my closet. So I decided to challenge myself and style it different ways. So find out how I styled it below.
So it's been pretty warm here in California while I know a lot of places right now are going through a very cold winter, but the weather here is making me think of spring. Spring is just around the corner, one jewelry look I'm really loving for spring and summer is the delicate layered necklaces. I've been seeing a lot of them in stores and while I still love statement necklaces I think this is a great change especially when it becomes warmer days.
So today I'm giving you my review on the Sonsee tights, I received a few months ago. I know it's been awhile but I wanted to wear them a few times before I actually gave the review. Now I love wearing tights but finding one's that fit me have always been really hard. You see when I was going to school in the Philippines, I had to wear tight everyday as part of my uniform. Now I went to school 6 days a week and pretty much wearing tights for 10 to 12 a day. I could never find tights that fit properly I had to buy pairs every other month. It was so bad that I had to ask my mom to send me tights from the states. But even the tights my mom sent me didn't last long because I was wearing them for long days. So you can say I've worn my share of tights in the past. But yeah lets talk about Sonsee.
I hope everyone is doing great, this month is coming and going way to fast. So I know you might be wondering where are my "Curves Around the World" posts are, well we are reorganizing the group and looking looking for new members so if your interested just contact any of us. But yes today's post is about the blanket scarf.
I hope everyone is having a great January so far. So today I'm showing you two items that I bought online recently. I'm not a big fan of online shopping but sometimes they have some deals you just can't resist. I just purchased the top and the boots online, just click read more to check out how my experience was buying them.
I hope everyone is starting the year off great so far. So today's post has to do with the virtual holiday party that I did a few weeks back, if you don't remember I teamed up with two great bloggers Liz and Hailey and we each through a virtual holiday party with decorations and recipes. At the time I had not received my item from SimplyBe and I got the item right before Christmas on Christmas eve which was great. But I hadn't gotten to post about it because I had to get it altered but more about that later. :)
