I know it has been a long time since my last post, I've been very busy and daylight savings really messed up my schedule. But I have a few post lined up for you all so I hope you stick with me! But yeah today I'm back with another collaboration with some of my blogger friends and we are bringing you some fall trends. The trend I chose is shades of gray, it was a big trend in New York Fashion Week with designers like Victoria Beckham, Lacoste, Jason Wu, and Tibi all showing all gray outfits.

I can't believe October is almost half way over, the time really goes by fast. October is my Birthday month so I don't want it to end because I don't want to get a year older, I'm not prepared to leave my 20's behind! lol But yeah it's mid October but here in California were having a heat wave and I'm wishing for some fall weather soon, I'm so tired of the heat. So in hoping for cooler weather in today's blog I'm posting a fall outfit that is still cool enough for me to wear in the warmer weather we have in California.

I can't believe it's already October, it's my birthday month but it's also Pilipino American History Month/Filipino American History Month or PAHM/FAHM which brings us to today post. When I was in college I used to celebrate this by going to different events at my college, since then I haven't really celebrated so I figured I can celebrate it by bringing it to my blog and celebration my heritage through fashion. So today I'm wearing a "Barong Tagalog," which is known as the national dress of the Philippines.

I know it's been awhile since I last posted but I've been going through a lot of personal things that have kept me from posting. I know I've said I'm back a few times but things keep happening, so this time I wont say it. But yeah it's Fall and their is one thing that I love more then fall fashion and that's fall television. I'm talking Empire, How to get away with Murder, The Walking Dead and so many more shows. But I also get excited for new ones as well and one of the shows I've been excited about is "Scream Queens," because the cast looks great and I love the outfits that I see on the show. I love the preppy and girly style that I see the characters wearing which brings us to today's post, continue to see which character and outfit I was inspired by.

From Day to Night

I hope everyone is having a great day, we are having a heat wave in California and I am definitely feeling it, it was 107 degrees today! I know that's pretty hot but it's good I was indoors most of the time. But yeah about this post, I went to the plus bus in July and I've been wanting to show off something I got from it. I decided to chose a black skirt I picked up because it's a perfect item to transition from day to night.

I was so happy they had an event in Los Angeles because usually they have these events in New York or places I can't go to. So when I found out it was going to be close enough for me to go, I knew I had to go.

So I know it's been awhile since I've posted, I have had a lot going on with me personally. First I had a death in my family, my uncle passed away and it was hard for me because I saw him almost every day since he got sick. And after my uncle passed I got really sick and I just recently got out of the hospital. This post was originally supposed to be up last week but I got admitted to the hospital so we had to push the post back. I'm doing better but I'm still recovering, but I'm back and I'm starting to get back to all my blog things.

So I'm back with my 2nd Rocksbox review! I've had this box for quite awhile but I haven't gotten around to reviewing it. If you don't know what Rocksbox is a monthly service that loans you designer jewelry for a monthly rate. Now I did like this box a lot more than the first one.

Rocksbox is a service that you pay for each month that loans you designer jewelry to wear that you can send back any time or you can purchase. The way they chose the jewelry for you is you take a survey and then they chose pieces that they think will fit your style.

I really like challenging myself and trying different styles and making myself get out of my comfort zone. In the past I've challenged myself to wear shorts and go sleeveless and those two things have stuck with me and are now part of my everyday style. So it's been pretty warm here in California while I know a lot of places right now are going through a very cold winter, but the weather here is making me think of spring. Spring is just around the corner, one jewelry look I'm really loving for spring and summer is the delicate layered necklaces. I've been seeing a lot of them in stores and while I still love statement necklaces I think this is a great change especially when it becomes warmer days.

So today I'm giving you my review on the Sonsee tights, I received a few months ago. I know it's been awhile but I wanted to wear them a few times before I actually gave the review. Now I love wearing tights but finding one's that fit me have always been really hard. You see when I was going to school in the Philippines, I had to wear tight everyday as part of my uniform. Now I went to school 6 days a week and pretty much wearing tights for 10 to 12 a day. I could never find tights that fit properly I had to buy pairs every other month. It was so bad that I had to ask my mom to send me tights from the states. But even the tights my mom sent me didn't last long because I was wearing them for long days. So you can say I've worn my share of tights in the past. But yeah lets talk about Sonsee.

Hello Wonderful Friends, Happy New Year!

I hope everyone is starting the year off great so far. So today's post has to do with the virtual holiday party that I did a few weeks back, if you don't remember I teamed up with two great bloggers Liz and Hailey and we each through a virtual holiday party with decorations and recipes. At the time I had not received my item from SimplyBe and I got the item right before Christmas on Christmas eve which was great.
