Pinafore by Mom!

Hello Hello!

I hope everyone is doing well! So today's post is from an outfit I wore this past weekend when I went to my friends graduation lunch which turned into a proposal. I'm so happy for her they are such a great couple. But yeah my outfit was actually made by my mom and if you have been following my blog you know I wear clothes my mom makes for me from time to time and this was something new she just made.

Can you believe it's 2016 already? The Holiday's were so crazy for me that I didn't have time to post my Christmas outfit and I figure why not post it now because it's better late then never!

I hope everyone enjoyed there Holidays this past week, I enjoyed it very much which is why I didn't post last week. I decided to take the time and just spend time with my family and friends. But I'm back with what I wore for Christmas.

Curves Around the World: Vacation

Hey Beauties! So it's that time again for another "Curves Around the World post," that week went by way too fast. Is it just me or is this month moving way too fast? But yeah this weeks theme is "Vacation," I could really use a vacation right now but I don't think I will have one for awhile. But that doesn't mean you can't dream of one and maybe if I get a chance I'll be able to take a day-cation to the beach before the summer ends. But for right now this is an outfit I would wear if I went on vacation.

Curves Around the World: Favorite Song

Hello Beauties!!! Sorry for a lack of posts and comments on your blogs, this month has been crazy for me. But I'm trying to catch up and today's post is on time, Yay! So this week's theme is "favorite song," and let me tell you I have a lot of favorite songs. All my favorite songs have special meanings to me whether they inspire me or have memories attached to them. So when I was thinking of which one to choose it was a tough decision. But I decided to go with something that inspires me and also has memories attached to it. 

Curves Around the World: Stripes

Hey Everyone, I hope you are doing great! It feels like forever since I've blogged because I've been so busy with things at home. But I'm here for another "Curves Around the World" theme challenge and I have to say this has to be the hardest one that I've done so far. This weeks theme...Stripes! 

Ok so I for as long as I can remember my mom has always told me not to wear stripes because it will make you look bigger and I have always had that in the back of my head. But since I've seen some great plus size bloggers wear stripes and look awesome, I decided to put some stripes in my wardrobe. I bought a few shirts but because in the back of my head I keep hearing my mom say don't wear stripes, I never reach for them. So yes I have a few stripped shirts in my closet that have never been worn and still have the tags on them. This being one of them, but since the theme was stripes I figure I might as well break the rules and push myself to wearing stripes. 

Ok so this striped shirt here has to be one of my favorite striped shirts in my closet but it has never been worn. I got this on sale from forever 21+ and I loved how they it was a graphic black and white top that wasn't the usual stripes. But every time I thought of wearing it, I would try it on and didn't feel comfortable in it, so I would end up taking it off and putting it back in my closet. So I thought this would be a perfect top for the stripes theme.

So this is the outfit I came up with, I thought the top was too short because I like wearing longer tops so I put a longer tank underneath. I'm wearing another skirt my mom made for me, sorry for always wearing skirts my mom has made me but it's because 75% of the skirts in my closet are made by my mom. hehe But yeah I chose this red pencil skirt because I really like black and white with red so this being my other red skirt I thought it would be pair well. What do you think of the outfit? 

So I tried to do my hair twists that I saw from ElleSees blog and I don't think it came out that great. I was trying to do something different with my hair because it's so out of control right now and I haven't had time to cut it.
