Happy 2nd Blogiversary to CurvyMod!!!

Hello Hello Wonderful Friends!
Happy St. Patrick's day and Happy 2nd Blogiversary to my blog. It's funny how I decided to start a blog on St. Patrick's day, I had been thinking of starting to blog again and that day I got enough confidence to just start it. But yeah today's post is going to be a little different because I'm really going to talk about clothes or fashion but more about my blog and what I hope for in the future.
I can't believe I have officially blogging for 2 years, it has been a crazy roller coaster this year but I'm happy to say I still love doing this blog and really enjoy it. I really look forward to thinking of different post and coming up with new outfits and working with other bloggers. I have honestly grown so much since I started blogging, I have so much more confidence in myself and feel more confident in what I wear.
So I've heard that a lot of people quite blogging just as fast as they start blogging because it can be hard sometimes and they loose inspiration in doing it. I know this past year I struggled with time management and I was being my biggest critic and putting myself down but I think to help myself to keep motivated I would set some goals or things I would like to achieve this next year of blogging.
Goals

1. Social media
Social media is growing in popularity and is a great way to reach so many people at once, so I really hope to build up my social media accounts. I have met some great people through my instagram account and I hope to continue growing my account. I just recently started a Facebook page(here) and it's really new so if you have time please like it but I hope to use my facebook to reach out to more people.
2. Stepping out of my comfort zone
When I first started blogging I tried to step out of my comfort zone and try different styles that I wouldn't particularly be drawn to and from that I have learned to appreciate these styles. I hope I continue to try new things this year not just with my style but maybe going out and taking photos out doors. For example these photos for this post were taken by my friend. I usually take my photo's with a tripod and I have to admit that I was uncomfortable taking pictures out in the open but the pictures came out great. So I want to push myself in that this year.
3. Connections
This year I was so fortunate to work some new bloggers and it was such a great experience. I really hope to connect with new bloggers this year and maybe even meet up with some of them. I'm a really shy person in real life so I hope to reach out to new people and get to know them because I think it would be a great way to build a network with other bloggers.

4. Reach out
Last year was the first time I ever reached out to a company to ask to work with them and it scared me so much. But it was a great learning experience for me and I hope to reach out to other companies this year to help me learn about new companies and broaden my network as well as be able to show my readers new things.
Lastly I want to thank all the people who have supported me. To all my friends and family who have supported me from the beginning and continue to support me. To the girls of "Curves Around the World," thank you girls for being a great support system as well as a great inspiration to me and keeping me on feet of blogging. I want to thank the people who visit me page and take the time to write comments, it means so much to me, Thank you! I'm so thankful to all the blogger friends I have met through the blogging community, thank you all for supporting and inspiring me.
Thank you all again for reading, I just want to say I really enjoy doing this blog and I'm just so thankful to be doing this because it's one thing that makes me so happy. Thanks for my friend Iris for taking this gorgeous pictures!

XOXO ~ Nina ~

  3. Happy 2nd Blogiversary!! It's such an accomplishment, Nina!! I have really seen your growth over the last couple of years and have been inspired by your willingness to try new styles and have fun with pattern mixing and other trends. I wish we lived closer. I'm really shy and introverted in real-life, so it can be hard for me to make friends. It would be great to hang out with someone who understands and who shares a love of fashion. :-)

    1. Thank you Cassie and I'm happy to say you have been a big part of my blogging journey and I thank you for always being there. I would love if you lived closer because it really is hard for me to go out and sometimes I want to go to events but it's hard to go out there alone and not know anyone. I bet if you lived closer to me we could probably go to those events together and I would feel a lot better. :)

  4. Happy Blogiversary, Nina! I enjoyed reading your reflection and hearing about your goals for the future. Blogging life, like everyday life, is full of ups and downs and can start to feel routine and uninspiring. I think that your goals will help you keep things fresh and keep you moving forward. I find that getting away from the computer and just sitting down with my notebook, magazines, and a cup of coffee helps me generate new ideas.

Wishing you all the best moving forward! I've certainly enjoyed watching your blog grow thus far!

    1. Thanks so much Liz, and those sound like great ideas, I think I need to try sitting down with a notebook and magazines because I was doing good for awhile but it kind of dwindled recently and I need to re-inspire myself, so that sounds like a great recommendation! :)
