City Chic in a Jumpsuit

Hey Lovelies!
So I'll be back with "Curves Around the world" at the end of the month. We just created a new list and I can't wait for the new challenges. So for the meantime I decided to show a jumpsuit I got from City Chic. Awhile ago I wrote about how I went to the Grand Opening of a City Chic near me, you can view the post here, and in the post I said I would post what I bought and here it is.
So I recently wore this jumpsuit to one of my friends weddings, I wasn't sure about wearing the jumpsuit because it was black and white but a friend who is a wedding planner told me it should be fine. I honestly felt weird wearing the jumpsuit because it's new to me and plus I'm used to the idea of wearing dresses to weddings which also kept me from wanting to wear the jumpsuit. But now that I look back I was really comfortable in the jumpsuit and I kind of like that in my group of 6 other girls I was the only one not in the dress which made me feel unique.
When I bought the jumpsuit I was told that it was one of there biggest sellers. I also saw a lot of other people wearing the same jumpsuit but I like how it looked good on so many different body types. One of the other bloggers I saw wearing this was The Curvy Fashionista's Marie Denee and shes so much taller then me so I wasn't sure if it would fit me but I was surprised that the length fit me well even though I'm an awesome height of 5'2.
One of the things I love about the Jumpsuit is that it came with this cute little belt. If you follow my blog I have a very similar one but it's a lot bigger and I really like how this one is smaller. I have already worn this belt a few times with different outfits. I love them when clothing comes with accessories you can wear with other outfits.

The jumpsuit is actually like a harem type pants and I didn't think I could pull off that type of pants but I think that because it's a jumpsuit it helps a lot. But I makes me feel like maybe I should try a harem pant sometime in the future. What do you think of harem pants?
So I found an article about using a plastic bag to create a whimsy effect on photos so I tried it and I liked this one. But yeah thanks for reading. I hope you have an amazing rest of the week.

  2. This look is fierce, Nina! It's definitely a bit of a change-up from your usual style, so I love that you're trying new things! I probably would have hesitated at wearing a jumpsuit to a wedding too, but seeing the complete look, I'm sure a lot of guests admired your style and bold fashion choice. I think it's very chic, hip, and flattering. The gold accessories top if off beautifully. You're always so inspiring with the risks you take. You're always challenging your fashion fears and trying styles you feel self-conscious about. And time after time, it pays off. I love it!
