Curves Around the World: Hats

Hello Lovelies!!!
I hope everyone is having a great week so far, if you follow me on instagram you know I chopped off my hair! I wanted something new with my hair, and I haven't had my hair short in a few years, so I decided to go short. I'm still getting used to it but I'm happy with the way my hair came out. But yeah this week's "Curves Around the World" post is about Hats! I wear a lot of slouchy hats and berets during the fall and winter but I don't really wear hats in the summer, so I made an exception for the theme.

So the reason I don't really wear hats is because I have a big head and it's hard for me to find a hat that actually fits my head. I actually own a few hats that I've bought without trying on and when I tried to wear them, I realized they didn't fit. So I when I was trying to find a hat to wear for this week, I couldn't find one that fit right and I was going to wear one of my usual slouchy beanies but I wanted something more spring so when I saw this hat in the back of my closet I knew I wanted to use it. I'm not going to lie it's a bit small on my head but I think it's OK. What do you think of the hat?

So this dress I'm wearing is currently my favorite spring/summer dress. If you follow me on Instagram I posted pictures of me wearing this a few weeks back. It's just such a comfy dress and easy to wear. I got from Old Navy when they were having a dress sale, it was only $10. I really wish I bought another one in a different color because now they went back to there original price. I already know that I will be wearing this a lot for spring and summer.
By the way I bought this hat in the Philippines a few years ago when I lived there and I saw it in a store on a mannequin and knew I had to have it. I bought it straight off the mannequin and I never wore until now. Lol
Thank you so much for reading! Do any of you have the same problem like me with hats? If you do where do you buy hats or do you just not wear them?

  2. I like the hat - I'm a big fan of straw hats in the summer, though I really don't wear them much either.

I really love that jacket! It's very cool. I would wear totally that with my white jeans (I'm in a white phase right now!) Is it a recent purchase?

  7. I commented on this already on Instagram, but I'm so in love with it that I'm commenting again. You just can't gush enough on Instagram, you know? But here - I can write however much I want! lol This is styled so perfectly. You look like you belong in a Forever21+ or WetSeal or DEB catalog. It is adorable and hip and so fun. The hat really caps things off with a summery touch, but I think the printed kimono is my favorite element. Darling darling darling.
