Hey Lovelies!!! So I'm still battling this cold right now, but fortunately I'm feeling a little better today. But I'm so happy the weather has cooled down here in California. How's the weather where you are?
Well it is that time again for another "Curves Around the World" post and this weeks theme is really interesting because it's "Seasonal," and it's really interesting because since the other ladies and myself are from all over the world that means that we all have different weather from where we are from. So this will be a fun post to see all the other ladies outfits this week, so don't forget to check them out. On a side note, not sure if you can see or not, I got magenta highlights in my hair.
So since this weeks theme is "Seasonal," where I'm from it's currently Fall but here in California the weather varies a lot. But recently it's been nice and cool in the 60's and 70's which I think is perfect weather because it's cool enough to wear sweaters and boots but not freezing cold. But even though it's cold right now, it can be in the 80's and 90's easily as well. That is why I am enjoying this cool weather right now.
So since the season is "Fall" I decided to wear my go to Fall outfit, which consists a skirt with tights, and boots. I love wearing skirts in fall and tights are a perfect way to keep you warm while you wearing them. You all know that I love boots, this pair is actually suppose to go up to my knees but again they don't fit my calves so as you can see it's bunched up around my ankles. But I really loved the color of the boots and I figured they might not fit the way they are suppose to but I think they look fine. It's one of those things that you just make it work for you.
{sweater & tights-Old Navy} {top-Jcpenny} {boots-Ross} {skirt-made by my mom}
So the top I'm wearing is something that was so hard for me to find, last year I searched everywhere to try to find a peter pan collared top but all the tops I tried on for some reason would never fit me right. Until I finally found this top at jcpenny which is a place I don't really shop at but I saw this in an ad and I decided to give it a try to see if it would fit me and I was so happy it did and plus I love the color of the top. So the moral of my story is that when you look for clothes you shouldn't limit yourself to certain stores, you never know what you will find. I know I used to only look at certain stores because I figured they wouldn't have my size or something I would like but now I go into a lot more stores because you never know what you could find.
Now don't forget to check out the other wonderful ladies from "Curves Around the World" and their seasonal outfits!!!

Thanks Cassie, I'll check out your post today! :)
Deletei love a beanie!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Elle, the beanie is one of my favs! :)
DeleteBoots, unless custom made, rarely ever fit like a glove on someone - there's always some bunching going on; because of that, it just looks very "in" when bunched :) . It's a really cute outfit, I wish it was in the 60s here so I could get away with something sartorially similar.
ReplyDeleteThanks Aislynn, your right about the boots thanks! :)
DeleteI LOVE the highlights!! You look so cute and cozy! I love this outfit! Boots, skirts and tights are a fab combo!

This is darling. It has a grown-up schoolgirl vibe to it with the peter pan collar and plaid skirt. I love your color combining here, too. That's now something I have a particular talent for, but seeing outfits composed of various colors and neutrals helps me envision how I might pair similar items in my own closet. Thanks!
