Curves Around the World: Pantone Colors

Happy Monday Friends!!!
So I took a bit of a social media/blog break last week because I think I really needed it for myself. But I'm back and it's another "Curves Around the World" post for you and today it's about Springs pantone colors! Also we have a new member of the group Melissa from It's Melicious
So every year the people at pantone come up with a report of the seasons new color trends and this is the basis of today's post. This year there is a lot of blue colors and pastels in this springs colors.

So I really do love the colors that they have but I'm the kind of person that doesn't have very much color in my wardrobe but I'm slowly trying to change that. So for today I was looking at which colors I can put together from what I have in my closet and I chose Glacier gray and classic blue.
So I wasn't sure which color was more glacier gray the top or the skirt so I decided to just wear them together. So according to pantone glacier gray is a more dominant color for men than women but I really like the color and I had it in my closet so I picked it. It also describes the color as a perfect neutral and a timeless shade, which sounds great to me.

So to add some color to my look I added a blue blazer because I like the combination of the grey and blue. According to pantone classic blue is inspires calm, confidence and harmony.

To tie everything together I decided to wear black and gold accessories. I got a new Rocksbox in the mail today and decided to wear the necklace I got as a bracelet. I will have another Rocksbox review on the blog soon.
What do you think of the pantone colors? What are your favorites?

  1. We're opposite dear, I have lots of colors in my wardrobe but sometimes I think I'm still blind, 'cause I am running out of ideas on how to create a a set of outfit. Now I need more basic colors like black and white and sort. ;) I love the classic blue on you! My fave is the pastel ones though wearing them is like "out of my comfort zone" color.. hehehe

  4. This outfit is beautiful - one of my favorites! It is so classic and timeless but still feels really fresh and chic. You have a knack for that. This blue and gray will be everywhere right now, but they'll still be classic next season and next year. I love how you tied the look together with your necklace. I'm obsessed with those lariat styles right now. Knowing that you're shy with color, I think you did a fab job with this color challenge. You showed how to do color without going over the top. I think this is a palette more color-averse women would be willing to try. It's not so intimidating if you only wear black, white, and neutrals. It's very approachable and polished!
