Curves Around the World: Season (Fall)

Hello Beauties!!!
So I have been way behind on my "Curves Around the World" post but I'm trying to catch up. Today's theme is one we have done before, seasonal and we do this theme often just because we all live in different places of the world so each of us are in different seasons. So it's fall right now in California and we are just starting to feel it, last week it was raining, which we need and it has helped cool down the weather. This post was supposed to be posted during Thanksgiving and during that time it was actually really hot and in the high 80's but I'm really happy that it's starting to cool down. How's the weather where you are?
So since the weather is starting to cool down, I decided to show off one of my favorite trends, faux fur. I have been searching for affordable faux fur vest and I actually bought one on eBay but got an 4X because I know asian places run small but unfortunately it still is kind of small for me. But I was so happy when I saw this one at Ross, it was half the price of the ones I've been seeing in stores and that was my selling point.
The vest I bought online was black and white with grey and I really like it, I'm going to have to make it work with an outfit since I can't return it. But I knew I really wanted a brown faux fur vest and I really love the color of this one.
So I don't know if you can tell from the pictures but my pants are actually faux leather. I got them last year from Forever 21+ but haven't felt brave enough to wear them until now. I got them last year on sale for $5 and I thought to myself one day I'll feel comfortable to wear these and I'm so happy that I finally am. I thought they would be uncomfortable for they are actually very comfortable and feel like wearing regular pants. What do you think of faux leather pants?

I'm really loving the faux fur vest, what do you think of the faux fur trend? I would love to know what you think!

  1. Super cute outfit. Yes, I was a little miserable on Thanksgiving with the heat + the oven being on all day + no AC. The rain has been wonderful and I am crossing my fingers for more. We sure need it!

    1. Thanks Janeane! Yeah I totally feel you the oven being on from the mourning till later in the day and then having family in the house, it was stuffy in there. But I agree the rain is really great, we need it but it's also nice having cooler weather. :)

  2. I love your outfit here Nina, perfect for fall. And Faux leathers and faux fur is the best. Weather here in Ph is abnornal/moody, early in the morning it's too hot, now 12 noon the clouds are grey and it's about to rain... If I can ever carry small closet in my bag... ;) Thanks for the recent visit dear. And I think this visiting is mutual because I thought of you last night.. *wink*

    1. Thanks so much Cassie, I know the weather is so tricky in the Philippines, a portable closet would be so convenient! hehe But yeah of coarse girl, no problem! :)
