Curves Around the World: Little Black Dress

Hello Everyone! So it's time for another "Curves around the World" theme and this weeks theme is the "Little Black Dress!" The little black dress or LBD, is the one thing that I think that every women should have in there closet. It's just that one piece that you can always count on if you have to dress up and don't know what to wear.
This week's challenge made me look into the part of my closet that I haven't worn in a very long time. I haven't dressed up in a long time, I mean I love to dress up but wearing a nice dress out isn't something I do often. I don't go out very much or if I do it's more casual then dress up. But when I was looking at my black dresses, I realized I only own one dress that is all black  and all my other dresses have other colors on them. But I have to say this is my go to dress and I've worn this dress quite a few times. Actually I've had this dress for so long, I don't remember where I got it from.

So to be honest usually when I wear this dress I wear it with a sweater because I used to be so uncomfortable wearing sleeveless clothing. But I've been getting a lot better at not wearing something to cover up my arms. When I put this dress on I was reaching for a jacket to put on top but I decided I don't need it and it kinda felt nice to be more confident, baby steps right! :)

So I wore one of the necklaces from my statement necklaces theme because I really like wearing this necklace when I wear a more formal outfit. I think it complements the outfit well. What do you think? How do you usually accessorize your little black dress?

So now you go check out the other wonderful ladies from "Curves around the World" and check out there great Little Black Dresses!

  1. What a fantastic dress! Mine's all lacy, and as I don't do anything fancy, I usually just channel my inner witchy vibes, haha.

    1. Thanks Sarah, oh I've been wanting a black lacy dress but I haven't found one yet. But yeah I don't do many fancy things either but since it was the theme I was like why not go all out! :)

Love your shoes and your statement neckpiece. You have nailed this weeks theme with simplicity and chicness. Bravoooo.......
